The Transfer Process
- Purchase your firearm from the seller of your choice.
- Have the seller send a copy of their FFL to us.
- We notify you once your firearm arrives.
- Schedule your appointment.
- Complete required paperwork and background check or Present your CWP.
- Take possession once approved.

*any additional firearms transferred on the same appointment will be $20 per firearm thereafter.
Selling your Firearm to another person?
- While int he State of South Carolina background checks aren’t required for private firearm sells, you can still have yourself a headache if your sold firearm finds its way used in a a crime. Let us help you have a peace of mind. We will handle the transfer and background check of the buyer, and a fee of $20 is also payed by the buyer at the time of transfer.

Storage Policy
All firearms that are send to us we will do our best to notify you of its arrival, But in the event we cannot reach you and you have not reached out to us, there is a $50 per month Storage Fee to begin 30 Days after arrival and no contact has been made to arrange pickup. After 12 months for Handguns, or 6months for all other weapons, Any firearms will become property of Bearded Gunworks and will be sold to recoup storage cost and administrative fees.
